Unofficial results will not be seeing the light of day as the Punjab Election Commission (EC) will be ensuring that the code of conduct is followed properly. Political parties find this announcement to be a cause of concern as this would mean that the results of the election will not be seen for as long as three days. Until the returning officers announce the final results, no one will know who won and who lost.

ISLAMABAD: Ruling Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) is giving second thought to reinstall Sardar Ayaz Sadiq as Speaker National Assembly, as some powerful players within the party suggested to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to bring some new face on the slot to avoid undue criticism and controversy mainly from Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf.
