This document ‘responsibilities of elected representatives’ attempts to elucidate the vagueness prevailing between the prescribed constitutional duties of elected representatives and their assumed and expected role as being member of respective legislative assemblies. The teacher can teach and test the students about real duties of elected representatives with the help of this book. First section of this document explains the constitutional and legal responsibilities of members of National & Provincial Assemblies and Local Government representatives. The second section delineates the real root causes that impede the real function of legislatures and shift the lawmakers into the district council representatives. Third and last section provides a comprehensive series of questions based on discussion in former two sections with the objective to test the knowledge of the students shared in previous sections.
