This paper by Mr Jami Chandio provides all-inclusive overview of the development as well as the crisis of federalism in Pakistan. The paper covers pre partition reasons for the emergence of Pakistan, and then secession of Bangal stating the issues provincial autonomy as key motivating factors in Muslim-majority provinces seeking independence. This position is taken by writer in paradoxical to ideology of two nation theory and religious and communal differences for partition of India. After partition, how elite did managed to subjugate the idea of the initial promises of provincial autonomy and center role in maintaining the hegemonic status and dealing with different federal issues.
