Description | This is booklet basically comprised of a lecture by Max Weber (1864-1920) for students of politics. Although, Weber described the qualities of professional politicians who have to acquire authority through different ways i.e. traditional, charismatic, and legal, however his essay turned out to be a classic of political sciences. The notions of professional politicians – who make their living ‘off’ or ‘for’ politics, is an interesting findings and mainly applicable for Pakistani political circumstance. The book is a must read and explains what it needs to be a leader not only for politicians and students, but for every citizen who actively participate and feel responsibility towards his state. |
