This publication gives the concept and applicability of RTI, the Commitment of our politicians in charter of democracy and Promises made by the federal government about a new RTI law verses actual situation in Pakistan. It also mentions the reasons for required improvement in the existing freedom of information laws and suggestions to promote the cause of RTI. It points out countries that have already enacted RTI and outcome of effective right to information laws enacted by all federal and provincial governments.
