The purpose of this study is to present a quantitative analysis on the effectiveness of question hour during the fourth parliamentary year of Punjab assembly. It is a significant instrument to prompt government’s performance (the efficiency of the assembly secretariat and departments) and to hold ministers accountable. It mentions an assessment of Questions addressed in the fourth parliamentary year and Intraparty Gender based competitiveness. CPDI suggests that the relevant departments must also be made answerable for any delay in responding the questions.
