Political Career Profile

Abdul Ghafoor Haidri is an active political leader of Jamiat Ulama e Islam. Over his 35 year of political career he has served as the MPA, MNA, Senator, Minister and Leader of the Opposition in senate. Abdul Ghafoor Haideri remained Deputy Chairman Senate from 12 March 2015 to 12 March 2018. He was Leader of Opposition in Senate during 2011-12. He is member Senate since 2009 (JUI-F). He has remained Member National Assembly from 1993-96 (IJM); and from 2002-2007(MMA). He also serving as Central Secretary General of JUI since1994. He remained Member Balochistan Assembly & Parliamentary Leader JUI from1990 to 1993(JUI-F) and Senior Minister Balochistan 1990-93.
