Political Career Profile

Sardar Zulfiqar Khan Khosa served as senator on general seats on the ticket of PML-N from 2012-18. He has also served as Governor of the Punjab from 17 August 1999 to 21 October 1999. He remained Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab for consecutive times from 1974 to 1999. He has also served as Minister holding the portfolios of Education, Irrigation & Power, Communication & Works, Finance, P&D, Local Government & Rural Development. Provincial Minister for Education 1988-90; Irrigation & Power 1990-93. He remained Advisor to CM Punjab from 2008-12.
