Member National Assembly since August 2018 to date. Raja Riaz Ahmed served as Member Punjab Assembly from 1993-96; 2002-07; 2008-13 on the ticket of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians. He also served as Leader of Opposition Punjab from 2011-13. He was former Senior Minister for Irrigation & Power Punjab 2008-11. He joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in May 2016.
