Inducted into cabinet of Punjab Assembly as Minister for Agriculture; Elected as a member of National Assembly of Pakistan from 2008 to 2013; Elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002 till 2007; and served as Chairman, Committee on Government Assurances in 2003.
