ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) yesterday again reserved its judgment on the alleged illegal transfer of votes in NA-122 after hearing arguments of counsels for the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and opposition Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI). The commission will now announce the judgment on February 1.

HYDERABAD: The Makhdooms of Hala crushed their opponents in the by-elections for their home constituency of NA-218 Matiari on Monday, recording the 13th consecutive victory from the area.
Supreme Court has ordered a recounting of the votes in Defence Minister Khawaja Asif’s constituency NA-110, Waqt News reported. PTI candidate Usman Dar had submitted an application for recounting.
