National Identity Card (NIC) is issued to the citizens of Pakistan. The unique 13 digit identification number is recognized all over the country. It is the first requirement of individuals as it is mandatory for getting your right to vote and; to obtain documents like license, NTN, bank account, passport, cellular connection etc. Every citizen of Pakistan, 18 years and above, is eligible for NIC.<\/p>\n
One cannot exercise basic right of vote, contesting in elections and getting benefits from the government (jobs, health card and benefits from EHSAS Program) unless the person has valid NIC card issued by National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).<\/p>\n
