Stance

PML(N) is a right of centre party which has remained aligned with right wing parties in the past. It has at the same time forged alliances with secular parties like ANP and MQM and more recently with nationalist in Sindhi. The party is a strong proponent of economic reform/ liberalization, good governance and elimination of corruption. Its perception has changed from ‘pro-establishment’ in the 90s to ‘anti-establishment’ during the last decade. The party supports strong ties with the Arab countries as well as the US and favours normalization of relations with India.
